Wow, that rully is a great pic in Jim's London Memorial thread. Thanks for the heads-up about it, Erin!

And I'm very excited about the Richard tribute Muppetcast. I really hope I'll be able to listen to it. I know it will be beautiful.

I love that picture too. Thank you Erin.

I know I won't be able to hear that tribute, bit I'll eagerly anticipate talking about it here at RHLC.

Oh yeah - the tribute should be good for about...what do you guys think, 20 posts? I mean, if there's something good and Richard-related to talk about, we can easily fill up a page or two.

As for the photo from the London memorial: it's weird - since Richard has on a dark-colored suit jacket, Scooter almost seems to be hovering in mid-air. Also, to my eyes, Richard's hair doesn't seem as gray as it did in the photos from the New York memorial - but that's probably because of the differences in the lighting.

So on the Muppetcast page it says that he's recording with Kevin Clash as part of the Richard Hunt tribute so that should be really good.

*At the RHLC newsdesk...

Updating an earlier story, we have it on very reliable sources that Mr. Swanson might even get an interview with Grandma Jane Hunt as part of his RH tribute podcast episode. The episode won't air until Sunday 1/20/2008... Please stay tuned to this, your local RH channel, we'll have post-cast reviews afterwards.
*Newsroom music fades out.

O wow, that's like, rully awesome!
:flirt:
Hi there, remember me? I'm the one that, last time she posted, was asked a question and then disappeared. Then the thread moved in several directions, and so did I, lol! I was surprised when Erin mentioned class the other day; I knew what date it started, but didn't make the connection that it was so soon! Thanks Erin, I think...
 Then one of my classes was cancelled, so I had to frantically try to find another one in order to meet the credit requirements for financial aid. Then, since I'm getting my books in alternative formats, I had to call the professor who handles that to tell her that she had to order one more last minute... It's funny, because when I called her she was as stressed out as I was, and we both said almost at the same time how it was too early for this, and classes hadn't even started yet! I wish there was a stress smiley; the three-legged screaming thing, perhaps lol
Anyway, thank goodness everything is all worked out now... Oh wait, I forgot to mention that I was supposed to be getting some orientation to my classes so that I would know how to get there, called the correct office after much procrastination on my part, only to find out that they don't even know what the room numbers for the classes are. It's a few days before classes, and I don't even know where I'm going! *sigh* Oh well, I'm sure it'll all work out, and I promise I'll come back later to talk about Fraggle Rock, plus other, more peaceful things.

Aw... *Hugs to you Kate, I know what that can be like sometimes.
Here... Let our fine penguin waiters get you an ice cold root beer or whatever drink it is you would prefer to have to calm away those nerves.

What's this? Steve's trying to get an interview with Richard's mother? Wow...I'll bet she'll have a lot to say about Richard; after all, of all the people in his life, it's safe to say that she knew him best.

I know the feeling, Kate - I just discovered that I have a class scheduled during the time the student government types have their Monday meetings. Hmm...I'll have to either fiddle with my schedule or work something out with the paper.

Thanks Ed. Zany, I'll have a rootbeer please, lite on the ice.

And Erin, I thought you didn't like politics. Are you still covering that same story for the paper?

Yeah, if you take his whole life into account, his mother probably did spend the most time with him, and you could say that no one knew him better, apart from himself of course. There are some people for which I believe it can truly be said that others know them better than they know themselves, but something tells me Richard wasn't one of those people.
You know, I just thought of something, not very important perhaps, but still cute and interesting. There are two great muppet matriarchs named Jane, with the last initial H. Hmmm, wonder if it means anything. Power of names and all that.

*Penguin waddles up to Kate's table with a muglike glass filled with light ice and a big can of root beer.
*Meanwhile, a certain rat is running a platter of short ribs smothered in sauce to another customer.

Good thing I happen to have these postcards that read themselves to pass the time. Hmmm... Both mention a Jane H. Wonder what a "Jane H" is... Or who it could be... Betcha the mailman would've been confussled at the JHC offices too.

Hey Erin, you want anything from the grill?
