New Muppet movie in development for potential 2013 release

Happy there's a release date. A bit longer than I was hoping to wait, but I ain't complaining! Until recently, I didn't even expect to have another movie for at least another 3 years.

Kind of a strange release date, I'd have loved to see it in a holiday season slot, but regardless, I'm happy about the date choice alright. In fact, I like the idea of going to a Muppet movie at the start of spring, one of my favorite times of the year.

Anyone know the exact date filming starts?

It's a good change for The Muppets to have a Spring release date instead of a Winter date this time for the sequel. The Muppets had no films released in the Spring, with the exception of The Muppets' Wizard of Oz if you count the TV films as well.
