Any sign of this online yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?
Not there yet, but we're on the freeway headed to our destination!
I know that this is something really big that a lot of Muppet fans really want to see so just wanted to let everyone know that i've been on top of this (tried to find my previous post mentioning this but it looks like those dang Forum Gremlins ate it - Note to self: add mousetraps to shopping list...)
At any rate, i've been doing a lot of digging around and checking with some old resources from when i started doing tape trades a decade and a half ago and it looks like i should have a copy of the EM's performance in my hands within the next week. Will keep everyone updated.
Trust me on this - even if this falls through for some reason, EM's performance IS going to make its way to the fans!
You ROCK, D.W.! I hope you can get your hands on it soon!
I can't wait! I'm surprised in this age of instant media on youtube that it is taking so long to get a copy out there.
Well keep in mind this is a special unusual circumstance - while Muppet fans knew the Muppets would be appearing ahead of time and we saw them on our screens during the regular special, there was this small "pre-show" that only aired in a few select places...and it doesn't seem like any fans who lived in those places taped it. As per non-Muppet fans who might have taped it, they most likely had no idea how big this Muppet appearance was to that fandom community. I ended up going outside Muppet fan circles to find the copy that i did.
Well kudos to you for keeping all your muppet friends happy!
Ummmm was the video ever posted...did I miss it?
Wondering this myself - it's been a month and a half now since i sent someone a copy that he was going to post online in a tape trade and thus far not only has it not been put online but i've yet to see my end of the tape trade reach my mailbox...

OK here it is, check it out before the NBC lawyers take it down!
the link works but then it says this video is private and can't watch it!
Private vs Public
When I originally uploaded it it was set to private. I changed it to public before I posted the link. Maybe it's just taking some time to make that adjust in their system.
Try it again in a little bit and see if you get the same error.
umm, i clicked on the link and it says the video is private
I'll keep trying!
Thanks Stulz, i checked with my tape trade partner and all is well so if there's problems with your putting the video online, my copy should hopefully be up soon.
whoo! it's up!
i believe this is the first time we hear David's Janice say/sing a full sentence by herself?
(i can hear his Baby Bear very slightly)
Fantastic! Pitch perfect. The Mayhem is back at 100%.
I hadn't seen Zach Levi's comment and wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but yep, he is somewhat of a *#* here. I don't understand his reasoning behind the comment. I like his show, but that is disappointing. Maybe the cold had something to do with his demeanor.
Still, the Mayhem was great!
Uhm.....I dunno, who?
And how many grammys have you won, Mr. Levi?
ok, smartalec time is over. now onto being a Muppet fan. I'm really diggin' on Matt Vogel as Floyd. Strangely it's still a little too early and little too little for me to really have any kind of opinion on Janice, but everytime I see/hear Floyd I see/hear Floyd. he exists to me. He's not Jerry or Matt he's just Floyd!
Also really great to see Lips again, I hope this is the beginning of more of my favorite obscure Muppet!
Wow! Thanks a lot!
It was a real shame we didn't get to see The Electric Mayhem play in the American broadcast.
It was great to see Lips again and Matt Vogel & David Rudman are doing a great job with & !
