Er, The Clown Concerto was from The Secret of Convincing John, not The Secret Society of Poobahs.
Just checked, yes, you are right on that Kim. *Passes on a muffin to the Fraggle fic writer.
*Walks into thread*
Can I have a muffin too?
Sure, hands one to the mormoesque wolfpire girl.
[Janken Fraggle walks up as Slackbot is about to bite into the muffin. He looks at the muffin like a cat looks at a tuna fish sandwich.]
Slackbot: Want a bite?
Slackbot: Then do your trick.
Janken: [sighs, looks at the muffin, then makes up his mind. He crosses his eyes and exclaims in a derpy voice] Muffin!
Slackbot: [dividing the muffin in half and giving part to Janken] Very good!
Janken [aside] The things I'll do for double chocolate.
I will give you half of my muffin If you do that again!
Janken: [derping his eyes] Muffin!
Slackbot: If I do it can I have the other half?
Janken: [smugly] You don't have the eyes for it.
Weekly Muppet Wednesdays: Sherlock Hemlock
It's noted that Matt Vogel could most-likely do Sherlock's voice well, but at least for now if Sherlock were to return he'd still be voiced by Jerry Nelson.
Was this really posted on the 28th? http://themuppetmindset.blogspot.com/2012/06/celebrities-you-like-to-see-work-with.html
Responses to last weeks question "What celebrities should work with the Muppets?" I check the site many times each day (until articles are posted) and I don't remember seeing this then, and from the looks of it another article was listed as coming on the 28th.
Muppet Fan's Muppet Collection Chronicle: JD Hansel
Weekly Muppet Wednesdays: The Newsman
Thanks for getting almost all of his credits in there! (He's also been in at least one of the picture books, "Muppets at Sea," though he had no lines in it; I'm hoping the new Muppet Comics will give him more parts, too.) I personally feel he has more depth to him than has been mined since the first season of TMS, but yeah, falling cow, always a good one...
Ssshh...sorry...promise we'll get ice cream later...
I personally feel we saw more about his character in season 1, when he frequently interacted with the guest stars, though they always played silly characters he was interviewing. His facial reactions were detailed and highly expressive, and he seemed a good deal more intelligent than the weirdos he had to interview.
*grumbling* Backhanded compliment.
Sorry...someone needs a ticklefight. Thanks for posting this Ryan!!
I do NOT need a --waah ha -- wah ha ha ha ha STOP!
Weekly Muppet Wednesday: Miss Piggy
Today marks The Muppet Mindset's 1000th POST! I can't thank all of you enough for your undying support. Enjoy the post!
Was it rully August 2009 the Mindset started? Where does the time go...
Congratulations on your double achievements today: completing a ninth series of twelve WMW articles with the diva pig herself (I look forward to next week's start of its tenth series), and reaching your 1000th featured article.
Here's to another thousand more and even greater continued success. Have fun. *Sends a slice of cake from tomorrow's celebration to Ryan 'theprawncracker' one of my Muppety forum friends.
Congrats, Ryan! Man, you're website has come a long way!
I didn't realize that Miss Piggy hadn't been the focus of a Weekly Muppet Wednesday article. A while back it seems WMW kept spotlighting characters I though had articles, and for awhile that hadn't happened.
