Yay! That was a wonderful and completely perfect way to start off the summer. :flirt: And I'm hoping we can do another visit this summer, too... I'm hoping, I'm hoping!

That's my plan for the summer. That, relaxing, and just enjoying it all.
I would love for you to do that again, pretty lady!:excited:

I hope every body here has a really great summer! And a fun one too!

Just another summer.
~06-16-07 ~ 4 days/3 nights, Going to Kansas City, MO, w/ friends to a Royals game, shopping, Worlds Of Fun, Oceans Of Fun & long nights of clubbing!

~06-29-07 ~ 4 days/3 nights, Going to Chicago, Il, w/ friends to the Babylon Tour on Sat-06-30-07. every night we'll be out clubbing. Afternoons & evenings we'll be shopping and sight seeing.

~07-04-07 ~ 2 days/1 night, Going to Lake McConaughy for camping, boating, swimming, BBQing and such. Of course there are the fireworks.

~07-07-07 ~ 4 days/3 nights, Going to Denver, CO to meet friends who've recently moved there. Again, sight seeing, shopping, clubbing till the wee hours of the morning. I do want to go and see The Shinning Hotel. I hear it no longer really looks like the one in the movie. Oh, well. Tons to do in a short time frame.

~07-27-07 ~ 4 days/3nights, Entertaining out of town guests. Going to Council Bluffs, IA to the Casino Boats, Clubbing in Omaha, NE & sight seeing in Lincoln, NE.

~08-10-07 ~ 4 days/3 nights, Going to Valentine, NE w/ friends to Tube down the Niobrara River. 2 full days of floating down a river, heaven. There is nothing more relazing than that. This we do every year without fail.

~amongst all of the traveling, I have to pepper that time with other local things such as: Neighborhood BBQ's, BBQ's at friends houses, Block Parties, Pool Parties, local raves & clubs, Barn Parties, Bonfire Parties, Tailgate Parties, Parties at The Lake. And of course I have to go to work as well. Oh well. I love my schedule. It's kinda light this year.

~ I take a lot of small vacations all through the year so I don't really see the point in going to one place for a long time and using up all of my vacation time at once. That's just me. . . and my friends, tho.

I hope everyone has a wonderful summer!

Summer officially starts for me this weekend, when my town holds their 23rd annual festival on the town green. From Friday to Sunday, the center of town is filled with live music, arts & crafts, food, games, and other fun stuff.

The highlight for me is the annual road race, held every year on Sunday morning. I started a few years after the festival started, and have participated almost every year.

It's a five-mile run. Last year's winner clocked in at 25 minutes, 38 seconds. I came in 6th, at 26 minutes, 58 seconds.:smirk: That's my personal time to beat.

I can do it! I'm limber, I'm ready! I've been running through the woods for the past two weeks. Now I just have to down a can of spinach, and I'll be good to go!

Man that sucks (the fact that schools are still in session, NOT the snowdays).

Man! Do you live in Stars Hollow or something?

The schools in my town are still in session. Had to make up for some snow days.
Aw man, I used to hate make up days.:stick_out_tongue:
