Totally, though We Built This City in retrospect fits. Im glad Together Again was referenced. But no 'movin right along?' Thats the second best song from the first movie.
I agree wholeheartedly that movin right along should've been in there. Maybe where theyre in the car and he says you think we shoulhave gotten a bigger car.

Seeing Scooter do his famous "seconds to curtain" door opening was great too.
I freaked out like a little Muppet fanboy when I saw that, haha. Once that "seconds to curtain" line happened, we were all taken back in time to our living rooms with the Muppet Show on TV. Btw, Before Kermit's Intro, When he opened the door in the logo, it, I was thrown off for just second, not too sure why.

Also when the tv guy speaks in Spanish and they get all excited and then he says no. That was hysterical

It's funny because usually "We Built This City" is viewed as an example of a once deep band (Jefferson Airplane/Starship) selling out to commercialism, lol. But now the Muppets have actually managed to give the song some dignity!

I'm glad that song was introduced and reintroduced to the audience, it could very well become a popular song again. Quick note, heard it twice at work the other night, all I could think about was the Muppets cleaning the theater!

I finally got around to seeing it tonight. I thought it was a really good film. It was nice to see Rowlf getting more attention than he has gotten recently. Also a lot of the lesser characters got recognized as well. Overall it is a good time to be a Muppet fan.

Another way to think about the Muppet Theatre vs VMX "historical landmark" issue is that the premise of this movie's story is that the Muppets have been apart for a long time (implied since the 80's) so in this alternate history/timeline, VMX didn't happen.

All these reviews and feedback seem to cover most of my thoughts and opinions. I saw it once at a midnight showing and went to it again about 20 hours later and downloaded the soundtrack right after when I knew I loved all the music in the movie. Now "Life's a Happy Song" has been my alarm every morning for quite a few mornings in a row now

I also love the scene where they had Droop, Afghan Hound and Behemoth getting Jack Black ready for stage time. Just the fact that they chose those classic background characters for that scene is awesome!
