I like today's street story. It felt a bit organic and natural!

Another good episode... And there are a couple of inserts that I suspect will make some people here happy.

Here's the rundown.
Episode 4155:Ralphie leaves Baby Bear.
Cold Opening: Word on the Street: Murray Monster asks about "expert".
Street Story.
*Matt Vogil voiced Big Bird in the street story's beginning.
He did? It looks like we might be getting to the point where Matt voices him on a regular basis. That could be why BB hasn't had too big of a part this season. They might still be trying to decide. Anyway, I'm glad he was seen at the opening, but I sort of thought that would lead up to something. He could have had a bird to bird chat with Ralphie. Just a thought I had. Personally, I didn't think that was the most exciting story this season. I didn't see the rest of the episode so I can't really make any more comments. Besides, from what I read in the Count's thread, most material was repeated from previous eps. One notable exception being "Annie Get Your Gumbo." Could someone elaborate on that please?

Maybe Matt is in the suit while Carol performs his voice on those episodes, so that may not be it. Plus they might just not have decided to dub in Carol's voice in this one considering Big only had a small role.

I was thinking it was because it was a small roll myself. but It usually sounds duded when he's only there for a short period of time. But when he's a main story point and has a big role it's most likely Caroll doing him live on the set.

I couldn't tell there. Since my brother was asleep in the other room while I was watching it, I had the sound muted and relied on the captioning. I have to agree with Drtooth's post. Since Carroll is still credited as both BB and Oscar, he'll probably at least be dubbing in the voice for a while. I guess they didn't feel that was necessary for such a small role. In fact, and correct me if I'm wrong on this, but it seemed like Matt also voiced BB in the episode with Telly's alphabet collection from a few seasons ago. He seemed to sound a little different there.

Hey Drtooth... To answer your question, the song with Trisha Yearwood, according to Muppet Wiki, is from Season 30.
Hope this helps.

Yeah, it was Matt in that episode.

Yeah. I thought so since I read it in Muppet Wiki as well. I sort of wonder where Carroll was at that time. I think that ep was when Carroll was still performing body, voice and all. After all, he did that in "Deal or no Deal" as well. I guess Carroll just wasn't available for the 'alphabet collection' episode for some reason or other.

Rerun. They broke the "every other day" pattern. I guess this means we have to wait forever until the next new episode.
