One thing to keep in mind is that Barkley belonged to Linda who's no longer on the show. Maybe he still lives with her, but she has him visit Sesame Street whenever he needs a dogsitter. Just a little something to think about.

That is very true quite honestly I forgot to take that into account.

He now lives with Bob! A more recent episode has him referring to him as his doggy.

Well, Wolfgang the Seal has not been seen since Uncle Wally left the show in the Mid-90's. Since, Wolfgang is Uncle Wally's pet seal
