Resist the urge to move too much. I always say that the Muppets 'don’t move without a reason to move'. Their movements, big or small, are motivated by what they are thinking just as with you or me as humans. Don’t have them constantly moving just because you can, and yet don’t be afraid to move when it makes sense. Learning this simple lesson is one of the key differences between a believable character and a terrible puppet show.

I must admit, after watching this several times I'm completely taken by the performance of the lady with a pink puppet.
It takes her just a few very subtle movements, and by the middle of the song you suddenly know that her puppet is alive. Amazing!

Really this entire album/movie (Daft Punk-Discovery/Interstella 5555) but, mainly Face to Face. It's probably my favorite Daft Punk song!
