Good pic. I fially figured out what it is about the Kermit that seemed off to me. His face is a tad sharper and more angular than you would expect. It is a good sculpture, but that's what it was. Always see the frog as more cuddly. Worth getting.

I just think that based on their size, the price is outrageous!! I much prefer the Palisades figures at a fraction of the cost.

I agree. I've enver collected busts, so I'm not familiar with price ranges, but it does seem like something like that with no moving parts or electronic features really shouldn't be as expensive as it is. I mean, if I can buy a full series of figures that I can pose and play with for less than one half-body bust that will merely sit on a shelf, why buy the bust? I guess I need a bust collector or maker to justify the price to me.

I agree with you.

Playability of a product is very important.

They SHOULD have put out MODELS of the busts instead for like 9 or 10 dollars that people could put together and paint themselves and THEN I could see the value, or if it were as tall as I was thinking originally (like 14 to 20 inches high) then, yes, $50-60 is a good price.

What's the busts made out of anyhow?

My Kermit bust is # 448 out of 5,000. I think they should have been priced no more than $35 with a special deal to get the whole set for under $100. That would have still been expensive and would have sold more units. I have a suspicion that the base molding was expensive. For their price, the paint job sould have been A+ but they were B level. I will collect the whole series, but I am slightly disappointed. I would encourage people to buy key/quality characters. Rowlf and Kermit are the top ones here. This is the Rowlf likeness to end all others.

the bust are made of pollystone, a very expensive materal. but yeah, i knew what the sizes were before i got mine, but i just got my one and only rowlf the magnificent Dog yesturday as a late christmas gift because it was on back order and my mom saw it and said,

"i payed $55 dollars for that! i thought it was a great big bust at that price!"

I wish the bust was really big. i do think the price is outrageous in someways, i mean what if they were made of cheaper materal, like oh say the Kermit and Piggy bobble head? then they would be less expensive at maybe 15 for each? But then maybe they wouldn"t be able to really sculpt that matteral thought in the detail that the bust are in and it might chip easier too, but i don't know, i just think people should pick there favorite muppet and just buy that bust, i did with Rowlf, i'm not buying anymore. I want more! I'd love e'm all as much as all of us would, but at that price i'm listening to my mom in which this is what she said when i told them there are going to be 20 of them at those prices then telling her i would not get anymore

" Yes Zachary, do yourself a favore and don't get anymore"

althought i really didn't buy any yet, this rowlf was a gift, i would look in too more, but i know i am not, my mom's lucky you can only buy these things with credit cards and not money orders, i guess i'm lucky too because i might have gotten tempted and might have bought the whole set.

I'm very happy with my Rowlf! at at the price that was payed for it IT SHOULD LOOK BETTER THEN THE ACTION FIGURE!...and it does.

Zachary,
