What are Kermit's build specs?

Should I choose to do Kermit puppet without legs, what is used for his body that your arm goes up into before it goes up into his main body??

I've been reading that people use ping pong balls for the eyes of puppets.

I'm assuming they are used for Kermit as well?

Are there more then one sized Ping Ping ball, or are there different sizes?
Are they just cut exactly in half, 2/3'rd, or just a little over half?

Just checked on ping pong balls...it seems there are 20mm, 38mm, and 40mm (typical) sizes. The right size is going to depend on how big you scale the puppet.

I think ping pong balls should be available at most sporting goods stores. As far as the body goes, the no-legs version just had a tube coming off the end of the "football" shape:

you an idea. The 'legs' version just attatches the legs in front of the tube. When you perform the puppet, the tube should be relatively invisible.

Is Kermits collar a differnet material then his body? It seems much stiffer.

I could be mistaken, but I think it had a foam understructure that was covered with fleece.

It couldn't have. That would make it far too thick.
