I hate the news. The American media is so focused on keeping us terrified and reporting only what they want to tell us that we can't even trust each other. But what do we do? We idolize them, give them their own show and pretend that what they feed us on a daily basis isn't government feared propoganda, but I think Jim saw that too, and the best way to deal with societies ills and dirty secrets, is to mock them. So that's why we have one of my absolute favorite Muppets; The Muppet Newsman. Thank God his career, no matter how painful it got to be, never strayed from the Muppet Show. You think falling barometers was dangerous? Imagine if this weeks creative visual was real!
