Episode 244 has a couple of Ernie segments I don’t remember seeing pictures of before. They look interesting.

Regarding Don Music:

I remember seeing him in street scenes on a Monday episode in either March or early April 1984, and Don was trying to compose a song about school. In the final street scene, as the sponsors (F, J and 5) were being announced, Don decided to sing a song about college while playing his famous piano.

I vividly remember seeing the animated segment "Tiger loves going to school" in that episode.

I also recall seeing a Friday episode sometime in March or very early April 1984 which had Don Music as the central focus in the street scenes. Based on recollection, I am confident that it wasn't the March 16, 1984 episode. That Friday episode aired either on March 9, 23, 30, or April 6, 1984.

Based on the recently posted links to fresh recaps, it seems as if the recaps for Season 2 are gaining momentum.

So, I honestly wasn’t sure where else to put this, but I just spoke to a woman at WGBH on the phone just in regards to setting up an appointment to watch an episode (I wasn’t sure if it cost money to actually set one up or not; also there are some episodes from seasons 27-29 I would like to watch), and get this. Apparently I was told, in order to actually come down and watch an episode, I have to, quote-unquote, “be doing research for it” and it’s not just something anyone can go down to watch. Seriously?!

Though in fairness, the woman I was speaking with wasn’t really that helpful to begin with, so I’m hoping this was a mis-understanding. But.... ugh! I really hope this isn’t true. If it is, guess there goes something I was really looking forward to. 🤷🏿‍♂️

This wouldn’t be frustrating to begin with if this was actually noted in the ******* article ON THEIR OWN ******* WEBSITE! So basically it was very mis-leading and got too many people’s hopes up. Thanks for screwing us over like always, Boston! This is why I absolutely hate your city and your annoying, fish-loving residents with those god-awful accents.

I mean, that's pretty standard.

The New York Library for the Performing Arts records virtually every Broadway show for posterity/archival purposes, but you can't walk in there asking to see Hamilton just because you want to see it for free - it needs to be for actual academic research. This applies to various other libraries, from universities to the Library of Congress. I think using "appointment" on their site implies needing a reason to go there, because otherwise it's just a free viewing library, which I don't think WGBH is at all.

Sorry you had to find out in a rather disappointing manner, but that's really the reality of it.
