YES!!! I've been saying this ever since that flippin' movie came out, but the only reaction/response I ever get to that statement is a pisha.

I can't help but wonder if Dreamworks (or someone at Dreamworks) had Abby in mind when designing Poppy?

It wouldn't surprise me in the least. I've had that same theory regarding other characters looking like other characters outside Sesame/Muppets.
