Yep...I know what it is, I've read the lyrics numerous times in various different places. I like Koo Koo Kachu better. Sorry if that bothers you.

Shhh...if word gets out, I'll have Beatles fans storming my quiet little neighborhood, and that will bother the neighbors.

Well I was always listening to stuff that wasn't pop or cool or new. It never really bothered me and when I got to college lo and behold the radio station there played muppet songs on weekends. It's wers 88.9 in Boston.

Yeah, I'm sure once I head out to college it will all be different. Every college person I know (most of my friends are now in college) says its so great and all that. Florida is just too square to play Muppet songs on the radio though. :frown: hehe

Well, Matt, honey, you'll just have to educate those people, won't you? Otherwise, even in college you won't get the "good songs" that people like us happen to enjoy!

Wolfy - Ya know, I would like to do the "educate the people" type thing on radio or something, but I really I have no idea how to do it. That's okay though, I will somehow get the music of the Muppets across on the airwaves...if even to DJ it, tape if from home, and listen to myself  hehe

Cory - Thank you very much sir. It means alot to me coming from such a hip guy like yourself

Both of those are great. I've never met anyone whose favorite Bowie was 1. Outside. That's cool. I'm a serious sucker for Space Oddity. Selling England By The Pound is in constant rotation on my mp3s right now.

What I'm listening to on the way to school or between classes:
Coldplay- A Rush Of Blood To The Head (came out today, get it, it's brilliant)
The Walkmen- Everyone Who Pretended To Like Me Is Gone
Sesame Street- Dreamytime Songs
John Denver- Windsong
Neutral Milk Hotel- On Avery Island
John Vanderslice- Mass Suicide Occult Figurines
The Dismemberment Plan- The Dismemberment Plan Is Terrified
Queen- Queen II
Pearl Jam- Binaural

There's plenty more, but I should go to bed.

Don't listen to the radio, it's bad for you! Unless it's public radio, then that's okay.

man...i must be sad...

as a trombone player, i'm inclined to listen to three things on a regular basis:

Swing
Ska
Orchestra (Classical or Movie Scores usually)

My favorite band of all time are They Might Be Giants.

just tonight, i've gone from the soundtrack to Nightmare Before Christmas, to The Blues Brothers: The Definitive Collection, to TMBG's new one NO!, to the soundtrack to the Producers, to Royal Crown Revue "Live". and i'm now listening to the score to Batman: Mask of the Phantasm...which is almost over and i'm going to put in Tenacious D or Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies

i'm all over the board...i'll listen to whatever's on the radio (i have a ford escort, it'd cost me $600 to get a CD player in the car...but we have a good station in town that doesnt play any of that boy band crap) and i may buy Jimmy Eat World this weekend. last CD i bought was the new White Stripes.

wish i had some Muppet stuff on CD...
