TMS Season 2 Box Set - 2007 Release?

You see, Disney, we Muppet Show fans wanted The Muppet Show Season 2 DVD released before 2007 very very much.

Does anybody have any idea when the second Season of Muppet Show will be released on DVD? Or what Features it will have.

Joel Grey - lost both Newsflashes (probably in error) and 'Stormy Weather'
Jim Nabors - lost 'Gone with the Wind' and 'Danceros'
Paul Williams - lost 'All of Me'
Charles Aznavour - lost 'Old Fashioned Way'
Vincent Price - lost 'You've Got A Friend'

The loss of 'Old Fashioned Way' is particularly ludicrous considering that Aznavour wrote it himself...



Not in the UK; I don't know about any other countries.

Whats annoys me even more is that Time Life had "Youve Got A Friend" on their releases. IF Time Life could obtain the rights tot he song, how could Disney (one of the biggest companies in the world) not.

I really shouldnt complain, cuz my 4 fave Season1 episodes were uncut:
*Connie Stevens
*Rita Moreno
*Phyllis Diller
*Kaye Ballard.

The most likely explanations are:

- the rights holder declined to license the song to Disney
- the rights were either more expensive when Disney looked into it, or else Disney's budget for the release wouldn't cover them
- the rights were not available (or were unaffordable) for all territories that the boxset was to be released in
