Not gonna lie, this guy’s mannerism of ranting actually sounds like me when I’m off on a rant

Even I have to admit I do hate when people wear flat brim hats just for the sake of looking gangster. Like come on now.

Hats have often had some kind of gangster associate with them, even dating back decades. Supposedly in the 80s and early 90s, wearing a baseball cap backwards was meant to be a sign that you were a gangbanger, but I think it caught on a little too strong with everyday people who started wearing hats like that simply because they thought it looked cool.

But yeah, this is a thing.

30 years ago, George Carlin did a whole bit on white people wearing their hats backwards.
I’m not a big hat guy, but on the rare occasions I did wear one, brim front, slightly bent. From working on machinery with my dad it had a lot of grease and paint in it.

The other thing that was OG for kids to do, was wear clothes with tags still on them. That means you successfully shoplifted and now you have bragging rights.

at Penney’s we used to have these security clips on jeans and expensive shirts. The only way to unclip them was with a magnet. If you tried to break it off, you’d get ink all over the clothing and your hands (which does not wash off easy). But if you showed off your jeans with a clip on them, you waz da bomb!

Personally I think wearing hats backwards is stupid and completely takes away the purpose of wearing a hat in the first place other than to look cool…… but in the end, I can’t control what people do with their life so 🤷🏿‍♂️

The only time I wear a hat is if I have to (like if I’m working in fast food or whatever) or if I’m going out for a walk or outdoors and it’s bright and sunny out.

Here's an old video we watched in class one day when I was in first grade in the mid-90s when CGI was still new. . . .

Looking back on it now, while some of it still looks pretty impressive for its time, it's clear some of it, sadly, has not aged well at all.
