HAHA! Dr. Bob! Oh that is so awesome! I'm glad Moe and Rowlf talked. And I love how Moe insisted on Rowlf and "the pretty kitty" going back to the theater! And so awesome to know that there's more coming, oh you shouldn't have told me that, now I'm all excited and YAY-ish! MORE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think so? I don't know? I lose track, I'm not even sure I remember how many days I've been back any more. Too many emotions flying around. But I'm glad I'm back, too! And I'm glad you're glad I'm back! And I hope you're glad that I'm glad that you're glad that I'm back, because then I'd be glad that you're glad that I'm glad that you're glad that I'm back and- I'm really confused now. It's so much goodness. Kinda makes me feel a bit bad that my own story's stalled for the moment.

Yeah, me too! It came to me kind of last minute and unfortunately, I'm at work and away from my Muppet Show DVD's. I could just see this scene playing out more hysterically in my mind...but unfortunately couldn't put words to paper. Oh well, like you said, what's there works.

This is the final chapter of this story. At the end is a preview of the 3rd and final story in what has become a series of "Rowlf and family" themed stories. Hope you enjoy!

Chapter Fifteen:

Rowlf and Wanda stood at the bus station waiting for their bus. It would be a long ride back to Hensonville, but it was the fastest way to go.

Felicia couldn’t stop hugging her son as they were waiting.

“You’ve given Moe such an incredible gift. We just can’t thank you enough,” said Felicia.

“Mom, we’re brothers. There’s a tie that binds us and it’s just gotten stronger,” said Rowlf.

“I’m so glad you feel that way,” said Felicia.

The bus finally pulled up.

“I love you Rowlf. Thank you again,” said Felicia giving Rowlf one last hug.

“I love you too Mom,” said Rowlf.

“And you,” said Felicia pointing at Wanda.

“Yeah?” asked Wanda.

“I hope we’ll be seeing more of you my dear,” said Felicia.

“Oh, I think you will,” said Wanda winking at Rowlf.

Rowlf gave Rex and Charlie handshakes and then he and Wanda boarded the bus.

“So, do you think Moe’s going to be all right?” asked Wanda.

“Well, he’s got a good fighting chance. Time will tell, but I’ve got a good feeling,” said Rowlf.

The bus roared to life and pulled away from the station.

It was late evening when the bus pulled into Hensonville. Wanda had fallen asleep on Rowlf’s shoulder.

“Hey, wake up, we’re home,” he said softly.

They got up and retrieved their luggage and then walked to the Boarding House.

When they walked in, the entire Muppet clan was having a late dinner and things were chaotic as usual.

“Pass the salt!”

“Uncle Kermit, will you cut this up for me?”

“I need peanut buttered pickles!”

“Can’t we eat a normal meal like any other civilized American family?”

“BOOM! Hee-hee-hee”

“HARRY!”

“Moi will not eat that no matter how good you make it look.”

“Hey look, it’s Rowlf and Wanda!”

Everyone stopped and turned to Rowlf and Wanda in the doorway.

“Welcome back guys!” exclaimed Kermit.

“How are you feeling Rowlf?” asked Fozzie.

“Real good, glad to be back,” said Rowlf.

“So, what’s the deal with you and the cat?” asked Dr. Teeth.

“Right on, are you guys an item or what?” asked Floyd.

The others started in on him mercilessly. Wanda eyed him nervously. Would he back out? Would he break his promise?

Rowlf in response just took Wanda’s paw.

“Yes, as a matter of fact we are an item everyone. So, I expect all of you to treat my girl with respect,” said Rowlf.

“Hey all right man, congratulations,” said Clifford coming forward and shaking Rowlf’s hand.

“So are you guys hungry?” asked Scooter.

“I am,” said Wanda.

“I’m starved,” said Rowlf.

With that they sat down and joined their crazy second family. Wanda smiled when she realized things were going to be different. Her and Rowlf were definitely together and who knew where the future would take them. She just knew that they would be together and that was enough.

Preview of the 3rd installment of Rowlf stories “An Unbreakable Bond”

He looked around and knew he was in the right place. Sure he had been here once before, but that was with the rest of his family. He sighed with relief when he recognized the characters running around him. Now if he could just find his brother.

“Hey, you look familiar,” said Scooter approaching him.

“Yeah, I’m looking for my brother,” he said.

“I’ll see if I can find him,” said Scooter at the same time a voice came from behind them.

“Moe? What are you doing here?” said Rowlf.

“Rowlf! I’ve been looking all over for you!” exclaimed Moe.

“Seriously, I’m glad to see you, but what are you doing here?” asked Rowlf.

“Well, remember in the hospital when I said I would owe you for everything you’ve done for me?” asked Moe.

“Sure,” said Rowlf.

“Well, I’m here to do that now! I’m moving in with you!” exclaimed Moe.

Rowlf appreciated the enthusiasm, but the timing was all wrong. How would he ever ask Wanda to marry him now?

 

[The Count]

Wow... The ending was what you'd expect, great!
Rowlf and Wanda on the bus, she asleep on his shoulder, cute.
Arriving home and beseiged by the rest of the clan...
Muppet dialogue!
Rowlf taking Wanda's paw and saying she's his girl...
Rully great.

But the 3rd Story? Oy... Moe's moving in without saying anything or asking Rowlf before hand?
Suddenly reminded of that old saying about neighbors/relatives and fish.
Seems interesting enough, but will the Koozbanians be able to pilot their spacecraft through a minefield of singing cannonballs?
*Everybody looks confusedly.

Oh what a wonderful ending. But what is that, I hate to read things that preview the next story in the series, but then again, I won't have to wait as long for your story as I do for the books I read that do that.

Good start to part 3, you have me drawn in already, despite my complaints!
