<Leyla leaps out of her seat in joy!>

Wanda: Oh no... she's going to make a scene.

Jimmy <shrug> : Some people like her scenes.

Leyla: <calmly> Oh, Ru, you certainly deserve this award and I am thrilled to bits in a dignified manner, of course, that you were honoured with it. Kermie's Girl is a fantastic story and it's been a joy to watch as you spin it so artfully. You've certainly made a very happy ushy gushy sister here...

<violent crashing is heard, followed by a high pitched squeal of joy>

Hilda: Oh no!

Wanda: <bitterly> Oh joy.

Jimmy: Oh! Popcorn!

Leyla: <buries head in hands>

<ushy gushy girl streaks towards the stage, bouncing with excitment>

UGgirl: Oooooooooohh!!!!! RUUUUAHNNNAAA!!! Ushy gushy bouncy bouncy squee!!

<Leyla stops her ruing (Get it?) and tries to defend Ru>
Leyla: Easy, easy, you'll scare people!
<Just as UG girl is about to collide with Ru, Robot Kermit gives a shudder, and, with a massive leap crashes into the ushy gushy girl and knocks her over.>

Leyla: <quietly surveying the damage> Um... Well! I bet they wish they hadn't let me into this place now, huh?!

<Dances in glee as Lisa excepts awards, while ignoring mangled robot Kermit and unconscious ushy gushy girl>

Leyla: Oh!!! Congratulations, Lisa! You've given us wonderful characters and wonderful stories, and oh, it's a pleasure to be your protege, belove mentor! Now go party, while I... um... do a little damage control.

Hilda: I think it's broken.

Leyla: Which one?

Hilda: Both...

*has lost control of hearing and is now screaming* NOW WE HAVE UNCLE DEADLY HERE TO PRESENT THE AWARDS FOR "GOLDEN BOOK" THE BEST FAN-FICTION AND "THE TRAGEDY OF MUFFIN MAN" THE SADDEST FAN-FICTION. GOOD LUCK TO ALL WRITERS.

*Uncle Deadly walks on stage covering his head*

Uncle Deadly: Ryan my fiend, could you please refrain from doing that? The rest of us are already deaf enough from that other half of yours. *to the crowd* Hello there, I am Uncle Deadly, phantom of the Muppet Theater, and I am here to presen the awards honoring my favorite Muppet Central pass-time, fan-fiction. Through fan-fiction we've experienced many things, Kermit's death, Kermit's mother's near-death, the rules of death, Gonzo's brother's death, a world where Kermit doesn't exist and it's basically like death, Uncle Matt's death, and of course, Death himself. And now, I present to you the cream of the crop, the winner for "Best Fan-Fiction" goes to..."Flippersteps in the Sand" by TogetherAgain!! "Flippersteps" also recieves the award for saddest fan-fiction by toying with our very delicate emotions. Congratulations Lisa, now get to posting more! Come now, you didn't think we'd make it through this whole award show without nagging did you?

Wembely: *wandering around stage* Hmm, now I have this award for the "Best Fan-Fic Reader" that's supposed to go to Layla. But, uh, I don't know who she is...And that girl over there with the robot frog is scaring me...So I think I'll just hold onto it.

Hilda: Well! I can certainly see why she got the award for craziest MC'er... lots of them are completely out of the mind... but it takes a special person to be contagious!

Leyla: <gushing> Oh, she so deserves these awards! Flippersteps is genius, pure and simple... although it isn't remotely pure or simple... and sometimes it really, really hurts, but sometimes it's so squee worthy I think I'll get sued by websters for using up all the letter 'E's. And I'm rambling again...

Hilda: Don't worry about it. No one heard you. They're all deaf.

Jimmy: Did someone say something about death?

Wanda: Yeah, they invented this thing called a delete button!

Sorry... Steeped out to get some lemon-lime soda and a baggy of bagel chips. So, any updates?
Count: Yes... Ve're now up to a grand total of 37 avards! Lisa's rocketed to the top with five avards, Bryan and Ryan are locked in a duel with three avards each, and then there's Kathy, Bo, Beth, Snowthy, Layla, and you tied with two avards each.
Oh... Hey! Fanfic awards! Great, I love so many of those stories.
Count: And I love that there are so many of them to count!

Layla, I must agree with my other half, every time I see one of your detailed reviews (be it in one of my stories or one of someone else) I begin to perk up. Keep it up deary! And Lisa, what can I say about my other half except that she's absolutely fantasicabulously(tm) amazingly awesome! But, I'm rambling, and besides, everyone on MC bears that distinction!

And now, it's time to present the awards for the tip of the iceberg, the best of the best, the MC Awards proudly presents, Kermit the Frog!

*Kermit hops out on stage and joins me at the podium*

Kermit: Hi-ho Ryan! Don't you think we should move this along? These people do have lives and need to sleep.

I'll agree with you about sleep Kerm, but lives are another story.

Kermit: *scrunches up face* Can we just get to the awards?

But of course el frogo, which shall we do first?

Kermit: How about The Count winning "Most Devoted Muppet Fan" and "Most Knowledgable Member"?

Aww, but Kermit, I wanted to do Fozzie Bear winning "Best Moderator."

Kermit: Ryan...I think we just said them all.

*blink* Hmm, guess you're right Kerm. Well whadaya know...

Kermit: I know we forgot one.

But you just said we did them all.

Kermit: Yeah, all but the very special, very awesome, very covveted, "Lifetime Achievement Award" for Phillip Chapman.

Yup, and a very well deserved award at that.

Kermit: Mm-hm. So...Wait is that it?

Nope.

Kermit: But that's all the awards right?

Yup, but there's just one thing missing.

Kermit: What's that?

The closing number!!

Kermit: Oh good grief...

Don't worry, I think you'll like it.

*Kermit and I walk off stage as Robin appears on a half wall on stage*

Robin: When the mountain

*Scooter enters and puts an arm around Robin*

Scooter: Though our minds

*Fozzie appears on the other side of Robin*

*Wembely pokes his head up in between Fozzie's arm*
