"Well, another Halloween's come and gone..."
"Yes, Charlie Brown..."
"I can't believe it, I went trick or treating all night and all I got was a sack full of rocks!"
Lol, poor Charlie Brown, good grief!
Hope everyone had a goodnight! And I agree, we shouldn't be so uptight about acting a little silly and having fun with Halloween. But then it shouldn't be just an excuse to get drunk either.
Anyway, we still have candy left over...and it's probably a good idea if I don't go anywhere near it!...oh what the heck, brb!
::Later::
Hi again! Well Halloween and October are over, and it's now it's time to concentrate on Thanksgiving. Or as it could be called lately "Proto-Christmas!" Meaning, the way the stores seem to view the holidays. First Halloween dominates the floorspace up front. Thanksgiving is given its own little shelf in the corner. And way in the back is the increasing number of Christmas stuff! When Halloween is finally over, we don't go straight on to Thanksgiving. Instead, we head right into Christmas, and Thanksgiving is still stuck with its own tiny shelf! Lol

I see what you mean. It's like just resorting to the lowest common denominator with us. And I'm so with you about the food and the decorations. but you just don't need to do that kind of self destructive behavior to have a good time as preachy as it may sound. And it the long run it's really just not going down a very good or smart path, you know?
