I'm not saying you have to quit for good, just until the ice cream comes. Then you can go back to what you were doing.

Thank you. Hmm...still no guests. *Sigh* All right, I promise not to shoot any of you, come on back. Come on.

I found a Richard quote in Of Muppets And Men that I had never seen before, namely because they didn't say "Richard". But here we are-

"A young man with curly hair, dressed in a sweatshirt and jeans, emerges from a partitioned-off lounge area, casually places a mustachioed cowboy figure on his right arm, and the figure suddenly comes to life, announcing to no one in particular, "Hey, I'ma an Italian cowboy. You musta seen me inna spaghetti westerns." Both of them, man and Muppet, disappear through a doorway which leads to the stage floor, pausing to address a still photographer who is headed in the opposite direction. "Thas right. I'ma an Italian cowboy from Noo Joysey."

I thought that was coo. And I didn't get the spaghetti western thing till now.

That is a great quote from Of Muppets and Men. From the way it's presented in the book, it sounds like it was one of the author's first encounters with the muppet performers. What must he have been thinking?? Hehe

This is really desperate, but since everyone's saying nothing new is happening. I was reading a website review somewhere about the Muppets 25th Anniversary CD "Music, Mayhem and More." It pointed out that on the track where Fozzie and Kermit are doing their "Good grief the comedian's a bear!" sketch, you can hear Richard laughing in the background for two seconds. I had never heard that before, I thought the reviewer was mistaken, but when I listened again it was definitely there!

Along the same lines, one of the Richard tributes on Muppet Central's main page mentions how you can hear his distinctive laugh in the Peter Ustinov episode (the scene where he's a professor with Fozzie, as it turns out). He clearly wasn't afraid to laugh, and in a big way, which is great. I wish I was more like that.

OMG, I've got that in my stereo now; I'll listen for it!
MBM, I now think you're purposely trying to gain an evil reputation, and I love it! E-vil, and Will still thinks you're an angle?!
That was a hilarious quote Haralde!
MN, loved that Richard Elmo thaught! You've read Ryan's fanfic, haven't you?
