Do any of you ever notice how sometimes it says "2 members" are here, and then it only lists your username? Maybe Richard's not the guest, maybe he's the member. Hmm...something to think about.

Happy dreaming, everyone.

A generous sprinkling of laughter from the good R.H. does add a certain something to a sketch, don't ya think?
The Steve Martin episode too, you can hear him the entire time. The plot was that The Muppet Show was cancelled so Kermit could hold auditions. The Muppet characters (and hence the Muppet performers) serve as the audience to all the new acts. You even hear Richard making Janice's presence with a loud "Rully!" in the background.

Thanks for letting us know, heralde! I feel like such a loser as I've never seen that episode before (yet...). Though, I'm totally looking forward to that now, too.

Don't feel like a loser. The only time I've been able to see Muppet Show episodes recently was when I visited The Museum of TV and Radio. Otherwise, it would be difficult to see them.

You're most likely to hear laughing from Richard during the Swedish Chef segments, it seems.
As an added bonus, during the SC skit on the Valerie Harper episode: right after a particularly audible guffaw from our boy, you can just see the top of Richard's head by the Chef's elbow. There's only one guy in the Muppet troupe who has that kind of curly brown hair...

I wonder if it escaped the crew's eye during the editing process or if they left it in on purpose.

It pro'ly didn't catch their eye. Didn't catch mine till someone mentioned it, and the editors are pro'ly looking at the puppets. When Dave Goelz was revealed, however...that was really obvious. In the Temptation number. It's always great to see em.

You can see em at the end of the S+V pilot in the 4th season disc. They pan down to show all the puppeteers racing across the screen like mad. Plus, as I said, they show Richard's hands in the Swedish Chef number. Good, good pilot.
