Well...I just checked the site out, and Sara's right; some of the stuff on asianfoodgrocer.com does look rather tempting.

As for me, I never saw it. Probably a little too "cute" for me. But I was a member of the anime club here at school for a while (dropped it 'cause of academic rigors).

Also, I showed this to a friend and she thought he looked much older, but that when you concentrate on his face and performance during "Simon Smith" you can see that he obviously must have played Scooter.
It's probably his hair color that confuses most people. The hair is gray, but the face and voice clearly belong to someone who's fairly young. (not that we're complaining, mind you. :flirt: )

Very true: the eager young gofer is clearly showing up in the mannerisms of the man who started playing him 14 years before. It is a little interesting to hear Scooter's voice coming from the mouth of a human rather than a Muppet, and very cool as well.

And think about it: "Simon Smith" was Scooter's (and therefore Richard's as well) first big performance on TMS.

I guess outwardly in appearance it very cute. Especially in the looks department. But it was a very good and funny show to me.

Maybe between having so much fun he maybe had a lot of concerns on his mind. It you believe the saying that worrying takes years off you;'re life and unfortunately in the hair department maybe he wasn't so lucky, heh!

It very detailed if he was doing the voice of the early scooter for that number. And maybe he wanted to make impression for Scooter's first big number and he was trying to relive that moment. Just a thought.

By the way, I think it's Awsome that you schoo has an anime club! Sounds interesting!:search:

Well, it could be worrying, it could be health issues, or it could be genetics. For that last one, we'd have to see photos of Richard's family, both on his mom's side and on his dad's side.

Richard may well have been reliving that day in the studio in London; he would have been 24 at the time, and Scooter was one of his first major Muppet roles.

Good luck with everything, Sara! I know how that spending money thing feels. Sometimes when I am personally bored or down, I buy something to cheer myself up. But I really should find a better way of handling it. The thrill doesn't last long and it just ends up costing you (literally heh).

Yeah, they say that spending money when you're upset will only get you into debt. Although I admit that just spending an hour or two browsing in Barnes and Noble (or any bookstore) does wonders for my tension headaches...

And I say eat all four pieces of that chocolate bar, because a) chocolate lovers live longer than those who abstain, and b) the late Susan Strasberg once said, "Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first."

Then again...some people do eat only one piece: the whole, unbroken chocolate bar!

I guess the best solution of what to do with your chocolate is to find a happy medium. You can eat some, but don't eat too much or you'll get a tummy ache.:stick_out_tongue:

Too right - I mean, look at the size of those giant-size Hershey bars.

I'm still working on my food and Muppets project - the 10-page part of it is due Tuesday, and I just got up to page eight tonight. It is a lot of hard work, and I've had a wicked case of writer's block lately. But tonight, I was fueled by two mugs of moderately strong tea and Def Leppard's "Hysteria" album, so I'm making headway. (Like I said, if I'm going to be doing a 20-page paper, it'd better be on something I'd enjoy writing about.)

I've taken a few jokes for doing a paper on food and the Muppets - but then again, one guy in my class (who's also on the paper staff) is doing "Seinfeld," and a bunch of kids are doing science fiction.

Oh do you like Def Leppard too? Awesome!

Great thing about college, you can write papers on the things you love, lol! (I personally never understood the Seinfeld thing, and a paper on that would probably never get ridicule, heh).
