Well...I just checked the site out, and Sara's right; some of the stuff on asianfoodgrocer.com does look rather tempting.
It's probably his hair color that confuses most people. The hair is gray, but the face and voice clearly belong to someone who's fairly young. (not that we're complaining, mind you. )Also, I showed this to a friend and she thought he looked much older, but that when you concentrate on his face and performance during "Simon Smith" you can see that he obviously must have played Scooter.
I guess outwardly in appearance it very cute. Especially in the looks department. But it was a very good and funny show to me.As for me, I never saw it. Probably a little too "cute" for me. But I was a member of the anime club here at school for a while (dropped it 'cause of academic rigors).
Maybe between having so much fun he maybe had a lot of concerns on his mind. It you believe the saying that worrying takes years off you;'re life and unfortunately in the hair department maybe he wasn't so lucky, heh! It's probably his hair color that confuses most people. Very true: the eager young gofer is clearly showing up in the mannerisms of the man who started playing him 14 years before. It is a little interesting to hear Scooter's voice coming from the mouth of a human rather than a Muppet, and very cool as well.
And think about it: "Simon Smith" was Scooter's (and therefore Richard's as well) first big performance on TMS.
