Yeah exactly, this can NEVER be the wrong thread! "There is always water!"

Hah, in a funny mood tonight are we Haralde?
 Between the water and the weird childhoods!
:zany: To everyone else, check out the Dreams About Muppets for that one.

Guys, I've got a philosophy test tomorrow that I'm not rully looking forward to. For this reason, I probably should be asleep now, but that's not my style, lol! Wish me luck!

I know what you mean, I have to force myself to go to bed early. I really should do it more often, lol. Good luck!

Hope the test went well, Kate!

I had the music from Jim's memorial stuck in my head for the better part of the day. It seemed to alternate between "Simon Smith...," "Just One Person," "Wemblin' Fool" and "You Are My Sunshine."

In other news; I mentioned in another thread that we've adopted a new puppy. She's coming home next weekend, and we've officially chosen a name: her name is Sonja.

Awww, that's great Erin! Nice name too! What kind of dog is she?

Well, I'm pretty sure I failed the test,
:frown: , and although I know it's not really a Henson and Co. type attitude, it got to the point where I kinda almost stopped caring, you know? It was a bunch of short answer questions, followed by two three-page essays. And yes Erin, I appologyze yet again; I have no right whining about that knowing what you're doing. But I was basically isolated in a testing room, on a computer that was not my own, staring down this work for three hours straight! The others there, when I finally stopped, kept remarking how surprised they were that I had been in there so long, and had written so much! I told them, "yeah, testwise I probably could have done more and stayed longer, but personally I just couldn't!". That does it; next time I'm demanding a takehome!
Okay, so I didn't study as much as I should have. Itstill would have been daunting!

Sorry about the rant, but hey. Isn't blowing off steam with friends on a Friday night what life is made of?

She's a German shorthaired pointer, the same breed as our dog Marta...who's in canine heaven now.

I've said this before, but we're getting Sonja because of Marta - ever since we lost her, our other dog, Toby, has been really depressed and lonely. But we've taken him with us on our visits to the breeder, and he's more cheerful as a result.

A few differences - Marta was reserved, but very gentle. Sonja, on the other hand, is frisky and outgoing - I told heralde that if Marta was Mokey, Sonja is Red.
