I know - and there have been some new twists and turns today, so this isn't over yet. On the upside, I got an e-mail from my journalism professor this morning, telling me that I did a good job reporting the story. It also congratulated the paper's news staff for staying on top of this craziness, so there ya go.

Hmm, it does sound like you've been under some stress - and I know where you're coming from on that. Take care of yourself, okay, heralde?

Like I said, politics gives me heartburn - which is a pity, 'cause it looks like I'm going to be stuck with this sucker until the bitter end.

But enough of that - let's get back to talking about Richard and Muppets.

Richard: Hear, hear.

On a happier note - FR season three came out today. I'll have to see about getting a copy sometime.

Thanks for the thoughts, really, it's gratifiying to know people care. Yeah it's just been a rotten couple of days, just out of nowhere. I don't always handle stress well, I just get more and more frustrated. I try to let things go but I think that will require a lot more practice.

My copy of FR 3 came today! I'd like to watch it now, but I might just be too upset. I'll give it a little bit of time.

Aw I'm sorry you couldn't get it. Well hopefully some day you'll be able to pay for it and everything, it'll still be there.

Ah thank goodness, a Time Life infomercial on '60s music, I love those! Lol

"This is the dawning of the age of Acquarius..."

"The '60s was a great time...not available in stores...no more stratchy records...60,000 songs on 3 CDs!"

And I've just been too busy. But it'd be nice to see what other whimsical mayhem the Fraggles will be involved in in season 3. We know Philo and Gunge get captured by evil Wander McMooch, and I think the Mean Genie's supposed to show up - it's either this or season 4.

The Mean Genie is definitely in this set and that's one of the ones I'm looking forward to watching! I still recall watching it when I was younger and being quite traumatized, lol.

Oh boy! Oh boy! Ok I finally got over myself long enough to give my Fraggle Season 3 DVD a try.

I know not everyone will be able to see it right away. I don't know how much you would like me to give away.

So far...well MuppetNewsgirl was talking about Richard's writing abilities. You would find the discussion of the episode "The Battle of Leaking Roof" very enjoyable!

Surprisingly (and I use the term literally) there is a whole section focused on the Muppeteer and crew people's efforts at scaring and surprising each other on and off the set. We even get access to some old behind the scenes footage of one such event. And...well let's just see we at the RHLC get a nice surprise of our own.

If you want me to go into more detail, I'll definitely do so.

Anyway, thank goodness my nightmare did not come true! :halo:

Was Richard involved in the writing process for "Battle of Leaking Roof?" If so, it'd be cool to see what he contributed.
"Are you sure this isn't one of your dumb, hare-brained schemes?"
"Oh, no, Pa, this is one of my smart, hare-brained schemes!"

(laughs) Muppet performers scaring each other on set...all right, Richard, what'd you do this time? (though I'll bet Dave and the others were just as guilty...)

I'm telling you, in the Harry Potter books, they had the Heir of Slytherin. Behind the scenes on the Muppet shows, they've got the Heir (or Heirs) of Sahlin - people doing their best to play jokes and cause abject mayhem.

But then again, it wouldn't be accurate to compare them to Slytherin - the Muppet crew members all appear to be a fairly even mix of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.
