Um, hehe I assume you mean diet right? Hehe thanks!
Ok I promised something rare today! This is from a 1982 Muppet book
Kermit's Garden of Verses, by Jack Prelutsky. It was mean to be the start of a Muppet poem book series, but unfortunately never got past the first book. I managed to find it on Amazon, and to my delight, this cute little book includes Kermit's ode to his gofer!
It does come across a little harsh to be honest, lol, but I try to think of it as Kermit talking about Scooter during the 1st season of the Muppet Show, when they were still getting to know each other. Hope you enjoy!
"Oh, Scooter is my go-fer
But he doesn't go for much;
I'm sure that he'd deny it,
But he hasn't got the touch.
If I send him for a sandwich
He forgets to get the bread
He buys a day-old pizza
And he drops it on my head.
When he should be fetching doughnuts
He decides to take a nap.
He brings me boiling coffee
And he spills it in my lap.
BUT...
His uncle owns the theater,
Every window, every door,
All the crumbling walls and ceilings,
Every inch of rotting floor,
So though Scooter hardly ever
Does the things that Scooter should
He's my one and only go-fer
And he's got the job for good!"
