Yeah, my dad does that a lot with his photos. He's a photography fanatic.

I'm glad to see that Muppet Wiki is fleshing out the episode guides for Ghost of Faffner Hall. I've been kind of curious about what it was like, and that sort of thing.

Also noticed: Richard's listed as "Production Consultant" instead of "Creative Consultant." Don't really know what the difference is...but either way, it seems like Richard was equally comfortable in the Muppeteers' trench and the director's chair.

Yeah I did notice the "Production/Creative" thing. Maybe I remembered wrong. I suppose Production is more about the actual workings of the show, while Creative is about the writing. Just a guess on my part.

Yeah it is great that Muppet Wiki is updating. I've only been able to see two episodes of Faffner Hall (though I know most people haven't seen any!). I don't remember watching it as a child, and to be honest those kinds of puppets always scared me!

Lol anyway, from what I've seen it was a very creative show. Every episode focused on some aspect of music, such as the different ways to write it down. And there were always celebrity cameos to bring home the point. I think the idea was that Faffner Hall was a place where musicians could congregate, so that's why the characters kept running into them.

The Wild Impresario basically sounds like Don Music, only a lot more mellow, lol.

Hiiiii!! Thought I'd catch up in here!

Wow, that is really cool that James Taylor appeared on Ghose of Faffner Hall! I also imagine that especially Richard adored that. How awesome it must be to be able to meet one of your favorite artists like that... what a treat that must've been, and it makes an already awesome job even better!

Muppet Wiki posted a photo from the 60 Minutes interview. It's not great quality, it probably comes from a very old tape, but it gives you an idea.

Richard: It's because the characters are so, well Lew, look at Lew's hair. Now I have seen someone in New York with hair like that, but..."
Richard definitely owns every moment he has in this interview. To me, when I watch it, it's like he's saying "This is our territory, we're inviting you in but you have to respect it. We're a little crazy, but we like it that way."
What an awesome picture!! Thanks for posting this, heralde. You're right, it isn't the best quality, but it's not really bad either, and it's so much fun to see! I wish I could've seen that interview, too. That would be awesome.

Haha! I adore that quote of Richard's... that's so great! You know, though, I think Richard "owned" a lot of times and situations like that. He was just naturally so charismatic, strong, funny, and it's just so easy to naturally notice him. And he knows exactly what he wants, and he says exactly what he means.

Aww man I love that song! And what a great sketch, too! I remember seeing that when I wa little! It's so awesome!

What an adorable clip, Will! Thanks for posting this!

I love that Muppet Wiki is updating, too. I've never rully known anything about Ghost of Faffner Hall, so it's great that they're adding stuff about it, and it's so much fun to learn about it!

By the way, this is the first time I've used this multiple quoting option... it's fun! Hehe, I love it!

Hi, Skye! Yep and knowing Richard he probably made friends with James Taylor too, he seemed to be very good at that, lol.

Yeah now THIS is something that ought to be included on The Muppet Show DVDs, if they could get permission from CBS.

Yes I love the multi quote option too!

Lol, that's very true. Richard was really good at that, and everyone sure seemed to like him! I don't doubt that they became friends after James made that appearance, hehe.

Oh man, I have to say there are so many things that I wish they'd include on those DVDs in the future. And you're right, that interview would be great! Definitely would be wonderful treat for us!

By the way, I wanted to mention how awesome I think these patches are! I hadn't seen this page before, and they're so cool!

Yeah, my dad's the same way about photos.

He has a photo printer and he just got a new Camra like the pros use. He was real excided about that. My mom was telling me he was like a little kid with how excided he was about it getting here. My uncle actually is a profesional photographer and has a miny studio in his house, so he took a family portrait of us on the "house", hehe! But my day took the photos of us and put it on a Christmas cards that he sent to his family.

My dad and I are the real photographers of the family! We love taking photos and doing stuff to them on Photoshop. Every year when I ask my dad to take a fairly good, updated picture of me for my transport card, he makes sure he gets just the right lighting and afterwards spends ages on Photoshop doing stuff to the picture of me, heehee.
For a laugh, I sometimes stick a picture of Kermit on my transport card on top of the pic of me... lucky the guy doesn't check it that often lol!

Yeah, and Dad was the one who took our passport photos. And oh, man, Kiki, I know what you mean - Dad will spend an eternity and a half making sure the shot is just so, and he will take at least a million of them.

On to other topics...yeah, it it certainly sounds like Richard would have become pals with James Taylor. I heard somewhere that James has a pretty wicked sense of humor himself, so it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine him and Richard joking and goofing off in between takes, or perhaps even doing an impromptu duet.
