Let's see...

On Janice's patch, it says: See you around the pool...fer sure.
On Gladys' patch: You like me, you really like me!
On Beaker's patch: "Me, me..." (that's him singing 'Feelings')

Top row, third from left: those are Sweetums' eyes and nose, as done by Cheryl Henson.
Lower row, third from left: that's Richard's name (done with a very large R), with 1951-1992 tucked in the middle.

Thanks a lot, MN! Oh duh I hadn't realized the eyes were supposed to be Sweetums.

Yeah, I didn't recognize them either. But Cheryl said she was shooting for an abstract look or something like that. And she did do a good job on the prominent eyebrows...and she loved Sweetums as Richard played him.

Mom claims our version of Sweetums was better (but she's kinda biased on the subject, don't ya know).

Hmm yeah I can kinda understand the abstract thing. Plus they're trying to fit a lot of stuff in small spaces. It was a good way to solve that problem. It's very cute.

Well perhaps a little bias, hehe, but then you guys did manage to get most of his body in there! And you should be proud of your work.

I wonder what the one next to Sweetums is, to right. It's probably something really obvious that I'm going to kick myself over.

They really are, I wish I could make things like that. Maybe someday I'll have the time.

Those are very nice quilts!
Yeah, aren't they?

Although...last night, Mom and I were reading through a quilt book that I got her for her birthday (it's a book of really elaborate quilts from around the world), and Dad commented, in a teasing way, that if he met some of those quilters he would tell them to "Get a life!"

I retorted that we think the same of people who spend endless amounts of time tinkering with super-elaborate electronics systems, just for the sake of tinkering.

But he did help us out with Richard's quilt; he scanned the photos into the computer and blew them up for us.

Lol, yeah that's funny. Well, everyone has to have a hobby. Cool, it was nice of your dad to scan the photos.

Speaking of hobbies, I ordered the Quilting with the Muppets book last night. So thanks for the review, MN!
