I was never made fun of for wearing glasses directly, at this point a lot of people wear them so you're less likely to see that. Of course, I do think it's caused some to judge me as "uncool." But that was mainly when I was younger.

People used to like how I looked in glasses, but I did not like it, it took me a while. I were eye glasses, but I were reading glases, too, and the are these old people, bifocal looking thing's which would get staires and laughs everytime I pull them out, but I love them.

It's weird how you think you look worse than you do. I got my glasses adjusted once and afterward I was CONVINCED they looked crooked and wrong. Everyone kept telling me it looked fine, but it bothered me for days. I kept staring in the mirror, it was not good, I was driving myself crazy. But thankfully I eventually calmed down and realized I looked fine. And it shouldn't bother you too much anyway.

Actually, the older I get, it seem like the more people are that were glasses and the more normal it becomes. But it always different, some people thinl you look better with them, some think you look better with out them. But I guess it's what you really think that counts, though.

That's exactly right. I think younger people are more likely to make fun of others with glasses, probably because they don't see it as often as older people do. And kids may not totally grasp how cool they can be, either. It's ok, though, they learn.

And it's kinda cool. Since I got glasses, I've had all kinds of people tell me I look younger than I am, so I guess that can be another perk!
