In another one, Big Bird is sad because it's Winter and he wishes Spring would hurry up and arrive. He receives a bundle of lovely flowers, which makes him happy. But he keeps coming across his friends who are also upset by Winter. Reluctantly, Big Bird gives away each flower one by one to remind them of Spring. Eventually he loses all of them. He's all sad again until he sees how happy he's made his friends, Big Bird brought Spring to Sesame Street after all! Hehe
Ok, I just want to say how totally cute that sounds!! So sweet. I really love that.

Of course, the Grover one sounds great too, ha! Definitely sounds wonderful! And like so much fun to see!

Thanks, Skye! I've never ordered anything that way before so I was a little nervous. But I figured you have to take a chance sometimes!

Absolutely! Especially with something like that. I would definitely try it for something like that, too! And Amazon is usually pretty good with that. I'm glad you went for it!

Yeah, Amazon should be pretty safe, heralde. I have never had a problem with them, before. Even with the third party stuff.

But the saying by Kermit was really funny!

Yeah, I figured the fact that it was Amazon meant it was more reliable than some.

IMDB posted some memorable quotes from the Super Grover story. This REALLY takes me back:

Narrator: He zooms through the sky, smarter than a speeding bullet, furrier than a power locomotive, able to leap tall sandwiches in a single bound!
Kid: Look, up in the sky. It's an egg plant!
Kid #2: It's a meatball!
Grover: It is I! Super Grover!

Grover: "Remember this, kids, it is very important. Even if your mommy makes you a super hero costume, do not attempt to do any of these things, especially flying. Because you cannot do it. You do not have super powers. Because their is only one Super Grover. And that is me."

I can hear Grover's voice right now. Even though I'd forgotten this for years. Isn't it odd how that works? My favorite part was always "able to leap tall sandwiches in a single bound!" My cousin and I loved the meatball part too. Plus, I remember not knowing what an egg plant was at the time.

Hehe, I loved that "able to leap tall sandwiches in a single bound!" part, too! That does sound totally cute! I gotta say that I look forward to hopefully seeing more Super Grover things at some point!

What amazes me is the effort the performers always made. Fran Brill, Carroll Spinney, Richard and Frank Oz all (and a few others) all participated in these videos. They were already working on all these other full time shows, and certainly Frank was particularly busy, but they still found time to do these little straight to video projects. That had to be very difficult and time consuming. Of course, they were getting paid, that probably helped!

Well, it's more like a where house that has retailers and things like that as opposed to just some random people where you don't know if there being honest or not. But their is a lot more assurence that you get what you ordered.

But anyway, I remember all those funny lines form Super Grover skits. Absolutly brillant wrighting!

Ha, yeah... getting paid always helps! But of course they loved what they were doing, and that always helps, too. And how could you not? It's a pretty awesome job! But when you really want something, you do find the time to do it, because it's a big part of your life. And ya love it that way!

Yeah, it seems that Richard enjoyed every opportunity to perform, particularly any Muppet characters. It is pretty rare to find a job where you keep wanting more.
