Well, I was just gonna just say rabid, but I realized that wasn't really what he was, and I couldn't think of a word for eating Muppets, so I coined cannablism to fit that category.

I had a Muppeteer dream. And R.H. is really starting to mess with me. I swear ta God, every single Muppeteer was there, in a row, EXCEPT for Richard. And I tried to get their autographs but they left to go to Disney World. Muppets 3-D I assume.

...I think I need to *stop* dreaming about him then. I keep having these little dreams about Richard and stuff. Maybe I'm hogging him? *shrugs shoulders*

MBM, that's kinda funny in a really weird sorta way. Maybe Richard is just waiting a little while, and then he'll give you a huge, gigantic dream blowout fest! Yep... that's pretty big.

Aw, ReneeLouvier, that's cute. Are they nice dreams? Probably are. They sound like they would be.

I had a dream last night that I just kept seeing his name everywhere, but he didn't physically appear. That's kinda weird.

I was surfing Wikipedia's version of Muppetfest, and found a couple of cute little Richard quotes. There were also really, really other funny quotes not regarding Richard, but you'll have to go to Wikipedia for those. Let's just say Elmo wasn't as...friendly.

Anyway, here they are:

Karen Prell remembers once when Richard was napping on a couch, still wearing the Sweetums legs. Dave Goelz came over and poured sugar into Richard's open mouth. "So he woke up with a start -- who was it? He saw you... and just took off after you, in the Sweetums feet."

They're supposed to be doing "auditions" in that Steve Martin episode, and they were planning to use the sound of the real cast and crew laughing. But Richard's laugh was so loud that they had to mix it with recorded laughter: "Nobody else could go up to that level!"

"Richard was kind of the bad boy on the team... and so all us kids loved him." Some glass breaks offstage. Jerry says, "He's here in spirit! That would be Richard."

"Richard and Jerry were like big brothers to us... They always encouraged the newcomers to get out there and do something. Richard would always come in with a hangover, and not want to do a chicken or a pig or something..." So one day, they had to shoot an Elmo sketch, where Elmo was going on a trip, and he had to have a jacket and a suitcase, even though he was just going down the street. Richard threw the puppet at Kevin, and said he should do the sketch. Kevin did it, and everybody laughed -- so he kept performing the character. "When Elmo became popular, Richard teased me every single day..."

What an excellent find.

You know, it sounds weird, of course they can do whatever they want, but I for some reason never really considered the muppeteers doing anything as, (and pardon me for sounding so old-fashoned), immoral as coming into work hung-over. Strange huh, how I could be that naeve?
