We're in spring now. This year winter was the pits. :stick_out_tongue: Totally freezing! But how do you like this? Yesterday was about 30-something degrees but today it's 12! Well, that's Melbourne weather for ya. Up and down like a yo-yo.

Wow, I can't even imagine that, Kiki! This past Summer was pretty mild. The Summer before that was awful, too hot to enjoy, you know what I mean? (Well yes I guess you do Hehe). What's it like in December in Melbourne?

It's a little too mild around here. I was able to walk back to my dorm tonight with the sleeves of my turtleneck rolled up. I should be heading outside with at least a heavy wool sweater worn over top.

In Melbourne, Aus, December is in summer, so *most* of the time it's nice and sunny. Unless, of coarse, the weather goes all skitzy on us!
(sooo typical here!)

It's so interesting! Obviously in the U.S., Christmas is strongly associated with snow and cold weather. You forget it's not like that everywhere.

Easter is associated with flowers, grass and warm weather in America. But I remember going to Ireland during Easter and it was freezing!

We went to Europe (LOTS of fun) for a week last May, and the weather varied. While we were in London, the weather varied from nice and sunny to overcast and a bit chilly. When we took the train up to York for a day, it was cold and rainy. Nearly drowned.
We spent a day in Paris before coming home to the U.S., and the day began as warm (a bit muggy) and partly cloudy...and then at night while we were having dinner in the Eiffel Tower restaurant, the clouds opened up like you wouldn't believe. Thunder, lightning, the whole bit...but it didn't deter all the soccer hooligans who were in town for the European Cup semi-finals.
