About Tina.
Her full name is Tina Grosse. (The kids laugh, thinking it's "gross" not "grosse" A little in-joke of mine that makes me giggle.) She's 8 years old, and she is a little shy about singing. When she does sing however, this great big booming alto saprono voice comes out! (that's the range I sing in.)
The kids think it's halarious, and they'll egg her on to sing. Then they are (usually) enraptured when Tina sings. She also has good rapport with the children teachers. I work with Ms. Cindy, the other children's teachers don't seem to know how to play off of the puppet. They don't talk to her, rather they want to talk to me.
I do work behind a puppet stage, hence my not really able to configure exactly how to get Tina level with the camera, without me getting in the shot.
And some news, someone destroyed the puppet stage! ...Good riddance. It was only 3 ft. wide x 6ft. tall x 4ft. deep. The preacher (our new one) finally understands a little bit more about puppets then:
"Oh Jim Henson did something like that didn't he?"
Man could repair computers, but couldn't figure why I would like to use a clip mic during the performances.
Eh, nothing really against him. Preacher Bill (new preacher) said he would make sure I have axcess to a clip mic whenever I do Tina. At least until I'm able to purchase one for myself. I'm either thinking a clip mic, or a wireless muppeter-style mic.
