Amanda, you don't have to apologize to us. We're not worthy. And you're posting quite fast, don't feel pressured or anything. Thanks again (third time I've said this, I believe) for taking the time to answer our obsessive questions. Speaking of obsessive questions, I've got one more. Do you have any idea what Richard was like as a kid or teen?

As far as pictures... that is one thing that my family is bad about! There are tons of the............SOMEWHERE!!! I promise that If I get down to see Jane (Grandmother as the family calls her) I will try to dig through the mess she calls 'her room'! I can't promise anything and it will be awhile, but I will keep my eyes open.

Oh it's perfectly fine, Amanda! Although we're all a little insane, we don't mind the slowness at all!!

Okay...*pulls out her clipboard*

Middle name? Check.

The gap? Check!

Where you are in family? Check-A-Mundo!

Candid photos? Not yet...(if possible of course)

Having Jane Hunt come on and check out our insanity? Not yet!

[Edit'd] On another note, not to detract from the pleasure of Amanda's company. I lost my clipboard yesterday! Left it in the store, and it was taken. x_x Had a large picture of Richard pasted to the inside of it, laden with various stickers on the other side. I was so mad! That, and I've got my costume put together already.

I figured I'll just use black teeth paste, to create a gap. XD And I'm already trimming up my nuclear yellow clown wig for dying it!

And, Amanda? I'd also perhaps like your thoughts on this as well.

Young Richard? Or Older Richard??

This thread's heated up. Guys, give the woman some time to breathe already!

That's okay, Amanda, insanity happens to run in my family as well. And we're also a big, crazy family with roots in north Jersey, so...

We've read all those stories about Richard...never a dull moment with him around, that's for sure. No, that's (Janice voice) fer sure...
Makes us all wish we'd known him in real life.

Richard as a teen...... CENTER OF ATTENTION!!! Like always, that NEVER changed, itonly got worse as he got older!
He ran the family if that makes any sense. I grew up in the house in Closter, NJ which he bought for the family when he started with the Muppets. I remember my mom telling my that Richard was coming from NY and the vacuum would be out instantly, and I'd be sooooo nervous! We used to call him King Richard the Perfectly Terible!!!! It obviously was a joke, with truth behind it! Always loved (&still love) him with all my heart, but he always made me nervous! Never wanted to disappoint him...since he did take care of my mom and me! Now I'm getting in to stuff you probably don't want to know!

No, no, not at all, Amanda! I love reading about that kind of thing... your memories of him. King Richard, the Perfectly Terrible... I love that! Please, anytime you want to share anything else like that, we would be all ears (or rather, eyes) definitely!

Sara, I'm so sorry to hear you lost your clipboard! That really sucks. I'm so glad to hear that you've got your costume all picked out, though!

Amanda, you read enough of these pages, you will realize that we do not not want to know anything. Rule of thumb. Anything you got that you feel like sharing, we will want to hear it.

unfortunately, I have to go to bed. Well, fortunately for you, cause that means I can't ask any more questions. I'll leave it all to you. Good night. Thank you so much (4) Amanda.

Any family member, bought the house or not, coming over would make anyone nervous. It's just so jumpy, cause you don't know if the house will be clean before they finally get there.

I completely feel for ya, Amanda. I know that same feeling. It was probably a little worse, because it was his house anyways.

So glad to have you here, Amanda. If you'd like, I can email you my stories (a whole muppet novel, infact) It mainly revolves around Scooter, and his plights.

Considering how Richard died, it may be a bit much for you though...it kinda mirrors my own sicknesses I've battled for the past year and a half.

Again, if you'd like to read it. it's called "Sadie's Stories" and here's my email address.

reneelouvier@gmail.com

Also, I unfortunately will not be on tomorrow, as it is Sunday, and I am pretty much banned from the computer then. So I will catch up on Monday morning, with all the pleasantness and insanity that will have transpired!

I thought before I left for the evening I would share my favorite Richard memory!!!!!

We used to spend summers on Cape Cod. So one night I went in to town (Provincetown) with a friend and as we were walking down Commercial St. I see Richard's blue (robin's egg) 1950's cadillac convertable coming down the street so we hid behind a building so he wouldn't see us...... I saw him in all his glory waving and talking to everyone (center of attention). To me it was amazing to see him in a totally different light than what I was used! I'll never forget that, and he never knew that I saw him!

I keep thinking of things I want to share..... his favorite morning breakfast....
Entemann's chocolate covered donuts and OJ...Yuck!!!!!!!!!!!!
