Alfalfa sprouts? Well, we might need to provide some halfway healthy food at this shindig. And those are good on a sandwich.
Let's see, Skye and Matt are doing the decorations, Skye is also bringing orange juice and garlic-peanut butter popcorn, I'm bringing the cake, punch and sorbet...
(shuffles around in supply closet looking for cake flour, sugar, eggs, oranges, chocolate and assorted other things) Now, which forum are we going to set the thread up in? Friends and Family or Henson People?

I vote Henson People. If people wanted to celebrate Richard in Friends and Family, they could come here. This way, we're opening to a wider fan base. Just think of it as two venues.

I'll bring balloons. Big balloons, small balloons, yellow balloons, and red balloons, Ernie's favorite kind.

I agree, Henson People would be appropriate...and yes, let's do have a little after (or before or during)-party splash here at the RHLC.

I'll get to work on the cake and stuff. I'm also preparing a birthday present of sorts for Richard...but I'm keeping it a surprise until tomorrow.

Richard's a supernatural being, can't he see it? I mean, it'll be a surprise for us, but if he really wanted to, he could just look over your shoulder. Here. Take this unlicensed nuclear accelerator. If it doesn't work on him, you can just cover it with it.

It's really true. Unlicensed nuclear accelerators are the best to use in that situation. I am curious to hear what this birthday present of sorts is.

I know that I want to watch a very Richard-centered episode (or a few episodes) of something tomorrow... I'm just not sure exactly what yet. Maybe his parts of the Fraggle Rock documentary and something else. I just know it's gonna be a very Richard day tomorrow! Even more so than usual.

Well, Richard probably knows what it is already, but I can give you guys a few hints: there is writing involved in this present, and part of it will involve driving to a public building, in this case a government-run building, tomorrow morning. That's all I can say right now.

(in the air, there is the sweet scent of a cake baking) Ah, the cake is almost done. It's going to be chocolate with orange buttercream icing, is that okay with everyone?

I must say that the present sounds very interesting. I am intrigued. I don't think I'm quite smart enough to figure out what it is yet, though.

Mmmm, the cake sounds, and smells, absolutely delish!

As long as the cake has no nuts, that's cool with me. I'm allergic. Wouldn't want to get a digital infection. But it smells lovely, storebought, even. You're a true professional Erin.

Why, thank you, MBM. And relax, there are no nuts at all in the cake. But there are plenty of nuts on this forum...and the guy we're honoring tomorrow is one of the biggest nuts there is, Lord love him.
Far be it from me to trigger a fellow RHLC-er's digital allergies; I'm allergic to pop-ups and junk e-mail, myself.
