I recently rediscovered this forgotten childhood classic through Robot Chicken:
I can't believe I forgot about Oswald, :frown:. On the other hand, I think it's pretty weird how [adult swim] is already doing parodies of shows from the early 00s lol.

Does anybody remember this old kid show from the early-to-mid 00s about a costumed character that looked like a big pink puff ball. Somebody mentioned this on YouTube recently and I'm wondering what they are talking about. I'm assuming it's not Kirby because he specifically said the round pink character was a costume not animated.

So. I'm curious.

Does anybody remember watching the Goldenbooks stories videos as a kid?

Please tell me you guys have seen some outside of the Sesame Street stories.

Does anybody remember an educational animated film about a group of kids who go back in time and meet Martin Luther King or something like that? The teachers would always show us that video at school each year on MLK Jr. Day.

Yes! I do remember that. It always made me sad because of how mean the white kids were to the black kids.

No, but I remember a Michael Sporn HBO special from the 90s called WHITEWASH, where a black girl is attacked by white gang bangers who spray paint her face white, and she becomes the focus of a local media frenzie because of it. I particularly remember an exchange between a pair of reporters that went something like. . . .

REPORTER #1: Would this be considered a hate crime?
REPORTER #2: As opposed to what, a nice crime?

I even remember the special had N-word Privileges.

Our Friend Martin was the name. Should be floating around YouTube.
