A good Samaratin. Bless her. I know I could've had it worse, I didn't split my head open, or do any damage to my spine.
I slipped on ice before, but I always got up, dusted myself off, cursed the ice, but that was it. This time I couldn't get up, couldn't move, that scared me, and it takes a lot to scare me.
The worst part was not being able to do anything for the pain. Lying on the concrete, while it's snowing, can't move, screaming in agony, not a fun day.
For the first few days I was numb with drugs, because the pain was so bad.
But thank God I didn't get hooked. That's a whole other nightmare.
