You know what?

I think I just noticed something.

Now that I've unfollowed most of my friends that share nothing but political crap.... All (or most of it at least) is gone.

At least now there's one less problem in my life.

Saturday February 17 I fell on ice and broke my hip.
The first week in the hospital was the most painful. But the 12 days I've been here in rehab made great strides every day.
I got more mobility in my right leg, climbing stairs with a crutch.
Best of all, most of the pain is gone. For a while I was on an addictive fix of Dilaudin (8x stronger than morphine). Now I'm on Tylenol, which gets me through the night.

Healing nicely.

@fuzzygobo Good to know you're okay. 2 years ago I had it worse. I fell on ice and I cracked my skull and render unconscious. I was rushed to the ER. When I woke up, I saw my English teacher right there. She saved my life.

A good Samaratin. Bless her. I know I could've had it worse, I didn't split my head open, or do any damage to my spine.
I slipped on ice before, but I always got up, dusted myself off, cursed the ice, but that was it. This time I couldn't get up, couldn't move, that scared me, and it takes a lot to scare me.
The worst part was not being able to do anything for the pain. Lying on the concrete, while it's snowing, can't move, screaming in agony, not a fun day.
For the first few days I was numb with drugs, because the pain was so bad.
But thank God I didn't get hooked. That's a whole other nightmare.

Finally finding a decent overlay of 35mm film grain and artifacts for free download. Just what I've been wanting for years!

(Without the spaces of course).

Not sure if it'll work in iMovie, but there it is.

We had snow showers today! Winter precipitation in March is almost unheard of!
