Witnessing a homicide.

Just as I was preparing to leave to run some errands, I saw a pair of groundhogs waddling across the yard - a smaller one in front leading a bigger one in back. When they got to the edge of the road, oncoming traffic was approaching in the distance. The smaller one went ahead and bolted across the road, but the bigger one kept hesitating, then waited right until this big SUV was barreling down the road to make his move, then SPLAT! He ended up looking just like that armadillo from RANGO. Poor little thing.

Aww, that’s a shame. I sadly have also run over some animals before by accident, and it sucks.

I even felt bad running over a toad.

A toad is just a specific type of frog. All toads are frogs, not all frogs are toads.

Even if a driver can see him, there’s not much time to stop. Sometimes if you swerve to miss him, you might cause an accident.
The biggest run-in I ever had, a deer jumped out of the woods and I clipped him. He staggered over in the opposite lane and that driver finished him off.
