Found out today one of my family’s favorite restaurants shut down permanently. I’m sure the pandemic was responsible for its closing. This has not been a good week for us. Eight or nine people I know, be it family or co-workers tested positive for COVID and three of them are children less than 7 years old!
I’m sorry if you think I might be overacting about getting the virus, but I have really bad health anxiety. The pandemic and the recent positive Covid tests haven’t been helping matters much. I can’t help but think about the worst case scenario when it comes to my health and the health of people I care about.

I tripped walking down the stairs . . . no big deal, and luckily, the front door did break my fall . . . but, it came at a price: banging my elbow into the door. Now, I've got a huge bruised knot on my elbow. Ouch.

Welp..... just found out an old YouTube friend of mine is a hardcore *** kissing Trump supporter..... completely angry with every racist thing Biden has said yet continuously praises Candace Owen and her racist **** and even went as going as far as calling covid the “Chinese virus.”

Yeah, I instantly unfriended the guy and blocked him. If anything though, I have to also thank him for showing me who he’s become. He’s shown me what I was like when I was a stupid hardcore Trump supporter in 2016 and frankly even made me more glad I jumped off that bandwagon a few months after he actually came in office.

I don’t blindly support Trump like Mario did. I don’t blindly hate Trump like Snowthy does. I can do without his tweet storm.
If there is one thing he did for the good of this country, was deregulating so many industries, so businesses CAN do business here. Instead of outsourcing to China manufacturing could come back, and small businesses could thrive.
Alex, being a Trump supporter early on wasn’t stupid. It wasn’t jumping on any bandwagon.
For his four years, on a scale from 1 to 10, I’d give him about a 6.5. Obama, roughly the same. Biden, time will tell.

I don't blindly hate Trump, there are legitimate reasons to hate Trump, just about all of which I have mentioned throughout our politics thread, which I won't drudge up here, since this isn't the thread for that (nor am I going to question how he's even helped small businesses thrive, because I've seen no evidence of such; just big businesses getting more of their big bucks throughout his entire "Administration").

Yeah, Snowth definitely has his reasons to dislike the guy. Mario was just jumping on the “I must support everything republican or right-leaning” party and made it painfully obvious.

Frankly at the end of the day, if people want to support Trump, so be it. I can’t control what you choose to support. It’s your life. If you let your political views completely determine who you are is another story. And with the now-former friend I just cut ties with, he said some pretty ignorant, racist **** that I can’t show on here when discussing his love for Trump. The messages showed me what I was like when I was a Trump supporter. I also said some pretty ignorant, racist **** like I remember straight up saying something like “people who bash on Trump are nothing more than SJW’s and minorities” who at that time came off as just people who just always wanted to make life about them. I came off pretty privileged and bigoted saying that. I was much different back in 2016 than I am now. If anything if I came on the forum in 2015/16 and was active on the first Trump thread, I could easily see myself pretty much being hated on the forum.

As far as his presidency goes, the only thing I can thank him for is bringing in more jobs, but with his constant whiny attitude when things don’t go his way and having numerous temper tantrums on twitter, it’s something I feel he doesn’t deserve credit for either. What I can mostly thank him for is showing the ugliness with both parties; there are even liberal friends I cut ties with because of how annoying they got with their non stop Trump bashing.
