I ended up bumping into a shelf on my wall where I have some collectibles - one of my Chipette figures fell off and right down the vent. She's too far down the air duct for me to reach by hand, wire coat hanger can't get her, and my vacuum doesn't have a hose for me to suck her out; it'd cost more to get a hose or have professionals suck her out than it would to be just order a replacement from Toys R Us (which is presently under $3.00 online).
Nayver mind. I guess the coat hanger did more help than I thought, because after a couple of days of blindly fishing around, I saw she had been pulled further up the duct enough that I could keep pulling her out, so she's back on the shelf.

And interestingly enough, I also ended up fishing out an old ink pen . . . wonder how long that had been down there? Not only was the outside covered in dust, but the ink inside the inner tub was completely dried out, lol. Not even a pen I would use, so it must have been down there for years, lol.

I was volunteering at the shelter yesterday. They had the CUTEST 4-month old buff tabby kitten! He was so soft. How could that make me frown? He hissed at me.

I wouldn't give him the time of day. I learned long ago just to ignore him. If all he wants to do is beg/demand/whine about not having certain Sesame episodes, screw him. He's not worth another thought.
You might not be able to get rid of him, but he's certainly not worth frowning over.

I know, but he just makes me roll my eyes sometimes.

Exactly this.

At the end of the day, just let him have his little tantrums. If it's one thing I've learned, his parents probably sheltered the guy.

He’ll just simply not get his way, not matter what he does. So he may as well just stop.
