My sleep has really been disrupted over the last couple of weeks - either I can't fall asleep because the veins in my neck won't stop pounding or throbbing, or there's been a couple of nights where I've woken up to pain across my chest and shooting down into my upper arm.

My annual physical with my doctor is Tuesday, so I'm going to mention this to her and see what she has to say about all of this.

Strange thing is, I mentioned to her maybe last year I've been noticing in spite of taking my blood pressure medication every day that my neck seems to throb unusually at night - I wasn't sure if maybe it was some kind of heart disease (which I know fat people are prone to) or palpatations or what, but she said it wasn't anything to worry about, and that I was probably just paying more attention to it at night because, as opposed to during the day, I'm not doing anything to keep myself busy, and thus, I'm just noticing it more because I'm not doing anything in bed. Still, this is getting more severe, so I'm going to bring this up again.
