My iPod Touch is nothing but a piece of **** now and Apple Support is nothing but a joke and they are no help to me at all.

well, they only do it for safety reasons.
And for productivity. Most companies are understandably not pleased with their employees goofing around online instead of doing their jobs, so in most places, web access is limited or even prohibited. It's just one of those things that has become commonplace. My office has a very strict policy about web surfing on the clock, but we can do whatever we like on our own devices during breaks.

yes, i see where it could be bit of a distraction in the work place.
