Another long day done, still got tomorrow left to go.
Good to get home. Hope Izzy's got another superb dinner tonight, will have to take her out on Friday to make up for a very busy schedule at Magic School.

Hmmm, everything's quiet here. Wonder where my girls are. And didn't I leave Baby Jana in Izzy and Grandma K's care? Was looking forward to reading them some more of that story about Rowlf's family tonight.
*Goes in, changes clothes, and relaxes for a while.

Jana: (comes running into livingroom* Hi Uncle Adam! Oh, I'm sorry, you look tired. Do you want me to leave you alone for a while?

No, not at all Jana.
Come on, let's see if the girls are up and ready for storytime.

Hmmm, well, maybe it'll be just you and me tonight. Come on.
*Settles down with Jana and starts reading from Love's Longest Journey.

*The door leading to the Headmistress Featheringill's office opens with some coaxing and she steps out, adjusting her hat, which seems terminally askew. The carries a small scroll with her down the curving staircase to the main floor of the school. She places the scroll on the bulletin board and waves her wand casually. Four long, very sharp tacks hurl themselves at the corners of the parchment, pinning it, struggling, to the bulletin board. Ms. Featheringill walks off, humming to self and muttering about a 'cuppa.'

After she is gone, the posted message gives up struggling to be free and begins to flash a technicolor message at semi-regular intervals.

WANTED: Dragonologists

Experience desirable but will train.

Must be of age, have high pain tolerance and be willing to work irregular hours.

Dragonologist needed! I'm so there!....hmmm I'll need a shovel...

<looks down and sees a shovel with the sigh "FREE" taped to it>

That's oddly convenient...

Jack: *pops up behind Mairin* Hey babe, whatcha doin'? Ooh, free shovel! Awesome! ...Dragonologist? Hmm, sounds like it should be illegal...I AM SO THERE!
