Goat: Oh, hey, whatever's easiest, bud, I go with the flow! <stretches> ...Most of the time. Once in a while, the flow gets to go with me. I think. On occasion. But I'm losing the point that I never had.

Father: *twitch* I'll put the kettle on then, and crisp some bread. So tell me *heaps tea into pot* who was your mother? Who your father? Do you have a job? And why do I suddenly sound like Lady Bracknel? *ahem*

Goat: <looks very thoughtfully and intently at something that isn't there and holds up one finger> Mother... <thinks>... Not a clue. <holds up second finger> Father... <thinks>... I'd rather not. <holds up third finger> Job... <blinks>... Don't go there. <holds up fourth finger> Lady Bracknel... <shifts eyes to the right> I have NEVER heard of in my life. <Drops hand and expression> How 'bout you?

Father: How about me? I'd tell you to mind your own business, but it's clear you don't have one. *pours two cups of tea...for self, and another for Goat* Well, if I must tell you, I was raised in a middle-class family in Glendale with a mother who adored...my older brother, Bob. Anyway, there was a girl who lived in the next house and...*later...everyone else has drooped to sleep* But then there was this other baby named Jana, who could talk, then couldn't, and dissapeared and...*later* Yes, I have a job.

Goat: <rubs eyes> Ohhhhhh. Nice, nice, Frosty. What's the job? And I'm scared to ask why.

Jack: *wanders downstairs with Shanker somewhere in his pocket* *notices Goat* Bo... why is there a dirty hobo-like girl in our kitchen? *notices Jason and Mairin* ...Mairin, why is that guy holding your hand?

Father: The job is private, the reasons private, and the cupboard in my study makred "Private" is private...which reminds me, where are you planning to sleep? The office is taken, as is the couch...Dog's not using his house, but if Mother saw me arriving at the party with a Yak and a Mingo yesterday chances are I'll be in there later. *to Jack* That's no way to talk about your ex-girlfriend...And, Mairin, why is that guy holding your hand?

Goat: ...Dirty, hobo-like girl... That just might ALMOST top "dirs-tee bag"... Nope, naw, not quite. <waves at Jack> Hey, I'm Goat! S'up buddy?

Father: Well, Jack, I think she speaks English...but it might be Hoboish...try not to let her catch your eye.
