Went to the Huey Lewis concert tonight, and during the intermission between the opening act and the actual concert, the audience was actually playing beach volley ball. Seriously, never seen that before... and everytime a security guard confiscated a ball, everybody started booing and hissing.
Who's idea was it to bring beach balls to a concert, and how did they figure they'd actually have time to toss 'em around?

My high school graduation was outside and a lot of kids brought beach balls to hit around. I think people who bring them just get bored easily and need something to do in the down time.
