The chewy ones are okay, they have a more easy texture, but otherwise I find them to be a little gross as well. 😐

Made Sloppy Joes today. With Manwich. Someone posted a meme with its new label “Gender neutral person”wich.
Another day for Wokeness.

Actually, around here, go into any Jewish deli, and a Sloppy Joe is turkey and ham on rye with Swiss cheese, cole slaw, and Russian dressing. Close cousin to a Reuben.

I wonder where'd that name Sloppy Joe came from. A guy named Joe tried to make hamburgers from scratch and was very sloppy?

When it comes to chocolate chip cookies, I'm somewhat finicky . . . I don't mind chewy ones, but I can eat not-so-chewy ones . . . it's the really hard, crunchy ones I don't care for - those are the ones you really have to not only dunk, but submerge into milk to make them edible.

As far as crunchy cookies in general are concerned, I'll eat Oreo's, Nutter Butters, and certain of those Pepperidge Farms cookies. Otherwise, as I said, I don't mind soft/chewy cookies (different flavors of fig newtons for example), but I don't care for those really, really soft, doughy kind of cookies, like those frosted cookies you can find in grocery store bakeries and such.
