So I went out to McDonald’s for dinner yesterday and...... I discovered their buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich has been discontinued. Which I’m pretty ****** about in all honesty, but eh 🤷🏿‍♂️ So I got the “new” crispy chicken sandwich and it really felt like just a cheap knock-off of Chik-fil-a’s crispy chicken sandwich. (Also didn’t help that, surprise surprise, the ice cream machine was down 🙄 I wanted to get a shamrock shake).

I really wish the buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich wasn’t discontinued.

I coincidently tried IHOP's buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich the other day since their menu is still extremely limited for the time being . . . it's certainly one of the better non-Chick-fil-a chicken sandwiches I've ever tried.

And ****, seriously? Is every single McDonald's ice cream machine in the entire world broken?

I mean, this was actually my very first time believe it or not. Guess those stories were true after all!

Oh well, I’ll try going back there another time (mind you I usually get mcflurries there with no problem).

Well, since this website is actually a thing, I guess that should tell us something. . . .

More often than not, the BK shake machine broke down, especially when I worked there.

Way back when Ray Kroc sold shake mixers to the McDonald brothers (thus creating fast food history), shakes were made with milk and ice cream.

At BK, the shakes were made from this prefab powder. God only knows how many chemicals were in it.

Friendly’s still makes good shakes. There’s also an ice cream stand by me called Cliff’s. They’re one of the few places you can actually get malts. Thick enough to bust a straw.

I remember not too many years ago when Sonic was hyping in their commercials that their shakes, blasts, and other desserts were, "Now made with 100% real ice cream," and it got me to seriously wondering just what kind of "fake" ice cream had they been using all these years?

So I saw these at target and had a once in awhile craving for these (but I’m trying to cut back on them before I get addicted), but I gotta be honest, these are the best chips ahoy cookies:

As a big chocolate lover, I love the extra chocolate chips in them! 😍
