When it comes to standard potato fries, the only sauce I like dipping in them is ketchup. Any other sauce (bbq, hot sauce, mustard etc) I will pass on (the first two I’ve tried before, kind of just gets in the way of the fries for me).

I’m also not big on squirting ketchup all over them. I prefer individually dunking them (and sometimes I’ll just eat fries plain, too).

Which Wich has a buttermilk ranch dipping sauce that's actually surprisingly good to dip their fries into, but generally speaking, yeah, unless the fries are actually seasoned like garlic fries, or even Arby's curly fries, then ketchup is a must.

To each their own. I dip fries in any sauce.

I was always into ketchup, but ranch is good too.
My favorite kind of fries are steak fries. They’re the fat ones you find at Red Robin. Way back when, they had them at Howard Johnson’s. I used to order a burger just to get the fries.
Plus your kiddie menu is also a hat.

Yes, Alex. I could never drown fries in ketchup either.

Steak fries are okay, just a little too much potato for me. Plus I find they have little to no salt on them.

Wait . . . I thought Howard Johnson's was a hotel chain?

But yeah, I really like steak fries too; so glad Cracker Barrel brought them back.
