I never put mayo on a grilled cheese. Butter, yes.
I’m partial to toasted hamburger and hot dog buns. But you don’t toast a bun for sloppy joes.
Rye bread is good for certain sandwiches, and pumpernickel is good too.
But my absolute favorite is sourdough.

I knpw pineapple on pizza is a huge debate (I'm for it, TBH), but I'm genuinely curious to know what cucumbers on pizza would taste like. . . .

Cucumbers aren’t sour until you make them pickles. But cucumbers would either make the pizza soggy, or dry out while you bake it.

But there are a lot of vegetables you can put on a pizza. Peppers, olives, mushrooms, broccoli, onions. Cucumbers, probably not, but I could be wrong.
