Balogna isn’t a meat I’ll go out of my way to eat unless offered and I’m REALLY hungry.

To be honest the flavor and texture just….. throws me off. Salami and pastrami is okay.

So if Millennials hate Cracker Barrel, no skin off my nose. More chicken fried steak for me.

More accurately, it's apparently yuppies from the northeastern region of the US who have never tasted well-seasoned southern food before and think it's gross.

I mean I’ve never been to one but haven’t really had a desire.

Texas Roadhouse is a lot better honestly.

Not even close.

Texas Roadhouse is essentially like any other steak chain out there like Outback or Applebee's and the like; Cracker Barrel is down-home-cookin' style food.

The same can be said about national pizza chains. They taste okay, but if you ever make the pilgrimage to New York, go to Little Italy, and eat at Lombardi’s in Spring Street, that’s authentic.

New York has a lot of famous steakhouses too. In the Sesame clip where Paul Benedict paints a 9 on the street? Hon Beaver Street in front of Delmonico’s. Very fancy, but out of most people’s budget.

If the food is good, I’ll try it. My tastes are not swayed by whether one generation likes it or not. I’d be curious to know what Generation X is supposed to eat, and who sets the standards.

After all, we're talking about a generation that has the apparent exclusive consumption of avocado toast as one of their stereotypes.
